Johnston Gallery is located at the top of High Street in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. We are open daily all year from 10am-5pm.
"Where Wisconsin began"... Mineral Point is "an architectural gem set in southwest Wisconsin". Settled in1827 by Cornish lead miners, today the limestone buildings built by the early settlers are filled with a diverse community, including many artists. Along with the artists studios and galleries one can enjoy bed and breakfasts, antique shops, bookstores, specialty shops and restaurants. Pendarvis, a Wisconsin State Historic Site, offers an historic interpretation of this collection of early Cornish buildings. A charming blend of past and present, Mineral Point is small town America at it's best.
Mineral Point is in southwest Wisconsin right off highway 151 half way between Madison and Dubuque.
