When Johnston Gallery opened at the top of High Street in historic Mineral Point, Wisconsin in 1989, half a dozen artists' works were represented.  Now artist-owners Tom and Diana Johnston's distinctive pottery, paintings and mixed-media is joined by the work of 200 local, regional and national artists.  Artists whose diverse styles are represented in a wide range of media, including clay, wood, glass, fiber, pewter, painting, iron, photography and mixed media -  as well as jewelry from over 50 artisans.  Pieces are chosen for their originality, strong design and lasting appeal.  Johnston Gallery has been featured in Niche magazine as a Top 100 Retailer of American Craft.
